New Director for CPLC

On 30 September 2024, Lionel Smith will step down as Director of the CPLC to take up a new position. As of 1 October 2024, the new Director will be Professor Graham Virgo. Professor Virgo, one of the co-founders of the CPLC in 2012, is the Master of Downing College and is an internationally recognized scholar of private law, particularly of Equity and trusts and of the law of restitution.
