The Cambridge Private Law Centre has held a number of larger events that have resulted in the publication of edited collections. This has been highly successful and there are future plans for further workshops and publications.

Challenging Private Law: Lord Sumption on the Supreme Court

In 2019, the Cambridge Private Law Centre held a two-day workshop at Trinity College in honour of Lord Sumption, with papers and discussion critically reflecting on the important and controversial issues raised by Lord Sumption’s jurisprudence. The revised papers have been published in a collection edited by William Day and Professor Sarah Worthington titled Challenging Private Law: Lord Sumption on the Supreme Court (Hart Publishing 2020).

Revolution and Evolution in Private Law

A number of papers from the Obligations VIII Conference held in Cambridge in 2016 were published in a collection edited by Sarah Worthington, Andrew Robertson and Graham Virgo titled Revolution and Evolution in Private Law (Hart Publishing 2018).

New Perspectives on Land Registration

New Perspectives on Land Registration: Contemporary Problems and Solutions (edited by A Goymour, S Watterson and M Dixon) (Hart Publishing, 2018), which was preceded by a two-day seminar in Cambridge.
