The aim of the CPLC is to be a centre of excellence for research in fundamental private law, including comparative law, legal theory, and the forging of intellectual links to other fields of legal scholarship. Through its seminars, conferences, and other events, the CPLC aims to be a welcoming place for the pursuit of rigorous, informed and significant private law research and debate.
