Since 2014 the Cambridge Private Law Centre, supported by the Law Faculty, has organised events for the Cambridge Law Club. These events provide an opportunity for Cambridge law academics and the judiciary to meet and discuss current legal issues. Events are run with an academic speaker and judicial commentator leading the evening’s discussion.

The planned 2020 events have been postponed due to covid-19 restrictions. Prior to that, the Cambridge Law Club discussions were led by the following speakers:

  • November 2019 - Selwyn College, Catherine Barnard and Sir Nicholas Green
  • May 2019 - St Catharine’s College, Peter Turner and Sir Michael Burton
